Hey guys!

I probably won't make it to tonight's meeting :/
I will be online but not in front of my laptop, so feel free to mention
me, I'll see it afterwards :)

About the packaging process:

- I've updated the wiki [0] with the latest info on missing gems, etc.

- I add anything I think will come in handy at the group I made at
gitlab.com [1]. If anyone needs access let me know.

- I've been following Debian's efforts to package GitLab as well since
last year, and they do a very good job. I just stumbled on a nice script
[2] that shows the packaging progress in a cool html format [3]. I'll
see to adapt it to our needs when I find some time.

- Given that many of you are not packagers, I'm working on a
comprehensive article of the packaging process of a gem. Good news is
that all macros used for Fedora are ported to EPEL6/7, so little effort
is needed to package for Centos/RHEL as well.

Concerning the packaging, there will be an RPM packaging IRC workshop
series starting from today. See [4] for more info. Folks who have no
knowledge of packaging could attend next week's intro to RPM packaging
:) Then again, we could arrange a similar thing specific to gems if you
are interested.

See ya!
